There are some cars with these sizes for example Audi's and Mercedes but not all models. A few members on here have the 17" from the Audi A4 and A6 on the Galaxy's and they look nice. Try this link for an idea of what cars are suitable. (Just have the volume turned down when you go to the website though!!) Quote

Saif Rehman Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Eric, The Ford Galaxy has a bore of 57.1 whereupon the info you have been given regarding the mercedes is that the e class has a bore of 66.6 which means that the centre hole is too big. One way around this is to fit spigots to allow you to fit them to the ford. For example this will do the job perfectly. All the best with the auction and let us know how you get on. Saif Quote

Saifsuper! one last q. so the wheels im reffering to you ( e class wheels ) will fit my galaxy, just need a spigot ring? and again super thanx to you saif! and to the furom... will let you know result and will include picture if i got lucky Quote
eric22 Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 hi. got another q. do i need to replace all old bolts, say longer ones to fit the mercedes wheels? thanx Quote
Saif Rehman Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Eric, I think you may need longer bolts as IIRC the Galaxy original 16" wheels are 7" where as the merc are 7 1/2. Try them first with the original bolts. The spigot rings i gave the link for are what you need to mount them to the Galaxy. Regards Saif Quote
eric22 Posted March 9, 2012 Author Report Posted March 9, 2012 hi. finally got the set of wheels. ordered the spigot rings and as mentioned i took one bolt off the galaxy and tried it on the aloy wheels to get measurement. it turned out that the bore on the steel wheels are thicker than the aloys, meaning bolts will be longer by 6-8mm for the aloys. is this going to be alright? or i need shorter bolts hope not! . by the way exited to have it fitted and have a spin!
